Even The Rain (Gael Carcia Bernal in a Mexican film scripted by Ken Loach collaborator Paul Laverty)

Tabloid (Docuementary Director God Errol Morris His Film The Thin Blue Line is legendary for solving a crime.)
The Forgiveness of Blood (From the director of SFF 2004 film Maria Full of Grace which was a great film)
Cedar Rapids (American Comedy staring John C Reilly and Ed Helms)

Project Nim (A film about a chimpanzee raised by humans - documentary by the Director of Man on Wire)
A Separation (Iranian Film - they are always great)
Three (Tom Tkywer's latest - enough said - The director of Run Lola Run)

The Tree of Life (Directed by Terrence Malick, you need more, Sean Penn and Brad Pitt - work for you?)
Win Win (Paul Giamatti in a film by Tom McCarthy who directed one of my SFF 2008 Favourites The Visitor)

Norwegian Wood (Haruki Murakami's novel bought to life with Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead doing the score)
Elite Squad: The Enemy Within (From teh diretor of Bus 174 and Elite Squad should be fast-paced and tense)

Toomelah (Selected for Cannes, Ivan Sen directs - Beneath Clouds was sucha great film)
The Guard (Irish Comedy staring Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle)

Meek's Cutoff (a revisioning of the american western)

Knitting Camp and Beyond










A week has passed since I returned from the annual knitting retreat put on by the wonderful ladies at C.R & K Daisy Designs in Fairy Meadow.
